| Unique features: |
|
No clock to set, no reserve capacity to calculate, no commissioning
necessary on this water softener. Just set the hardness
with the test kit provided-you will not need to adjust it
again. The microprocessor has an infinite memory so no correction
is necessary when there is a power failure. The Water Boss
is set to regenerate when the meter indicates that the capacity
has been exhausted - after one hour or one year! Once the
softener has less than 200 litres of capacity left it starts
to look for an opportunity to regenerate. As water demand
rises & falls during the day it asses the best time
to regenerate.
The Water Boss also has the capability to remove Maximum
clear water iron up to 10 ppm @ pH7+ and will filter out
sediment below 20 microns

Flow Rate Information:
Different sized connections to your softener will affect the rate of water flow. The best flows are achieved with rigid pipe work, this offers the least resistance to the water. Using flexible hoses reduces the flows as the internal bore is smaller than that of rigid pipe work. In most cases such as homes with Combi Boilers & Gravity Fed (tanks in the roof) systems hoses a quite adequate, however on installation with Megaflow type systems where the highest flow rates are required the best results will be achieved by using rigid pipe work.
